People who understand the power of charity do not shy away from rendering help to others. In fact, they watch out for the opportunity, because they know that sometimes, all it takes for you to rise is to help the right person.

Sadly, however, many persons are too focused on themselves and their own needs to notice an opportunity to lend a helping hand to others. Some others are only minded to help those they perceive can repay them in some way, yet, the Bible tells us to prioritize those who may not have the means to repay us because this is of greater reward in the sight of God. (Luke 14:12-14).

It is also important to note that the help you render does not necessarily have to be monetary. Sometimes, just a smile, a word of encouragement, or a heartfelt counsel may be all that is needed to inspire someone.

In all, as God blesses you, train yourself to remember others who may not be as privileged as you are. As God promotes you, think about how you can help to raise others up to higher levels, remembering that a man who helps the poor is lending to God, and He will surely repay you in due time (Prov. 19:17).

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – MONACO
Monaco is the 2nd smallest state in the world with over 30000 as population. Monaco is culturally Catholic, but the real culture is one of materialistic hedonism. It is very difficult to foster interest in spiritual things in such an environment.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for wisdom upon missionaries and the ministers in Monaco, that they may effectively preach the Gospel in the nation, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will grant the legislators of Monaco, the wisdom to advise the President in the best course of action in all matters, for the good of the nation and not for their own selfish interests, in the name of Jesus.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen.
