SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be
Gen 15:5
God does not live in time; as a result, He sees the end from the very beginning and knows the outcome of our lives. He thoughts towards us are good, to give us an expected end. Our attitude hence towards whatever state we find ourselves in, should be that of joy knowing our future is already settled.
In our scriptural text, God had told Abraham, “…so shall thy seed be”; pointing his thoughts to the direction of the future. He God spoke to Abraham about his countless children, Abraham was did not yet have even a son, as he could not. However, the Word of God gave Abraham sight. Thus he was not perturbed because he could see the future.
The word of God says the path of the righteous is as a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto perfection. That refers to you today! What a consolation to know that no matter how your today is, your tomorrow will be better because the Word says so. Halleluyah!

Father, I thank you for this new day and the privilege you have given me to know you and to walk with you by faith. I am grateful for the revelation of your Word and the gift of your Holy Spirit. I commit myself to fellowshipping with your Word and your Spirit this day. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight and to live a life that pleases you. G. PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BARBADOS
Since settlement in 1627, Barbados has been Christian, though 20% of its population is unreached with the Gospel. There is also a recent spiritual decline with symptoms of decreasing church attendance, increased violence and crime in the nation.
PRAY FOR BARBADOS; We are praying for unity in the body of Christ in that nation.
H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).
