SUPPORT YOUR PASTOR

Read in your own language

Philippians 2:21 – For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

The Church is greatly laden with responsibilities that must be fulfilled in its quest to bring people to Christ, retain them, and mature them for the work of the Ministry. However, it is sad to know that in many places, the total responsibility of the Church is borne by only the Pastor, because other people are “busy about their own businesses”.

Paul, the Apostle took cognizance of this in our opening Scripture. Hence we see that in many places, only the Pastor is the Church administrator, the janitor, the strategist, the accountant, the giver, the marriage counselor, the preacher, and lots more. While everyone else is busy with his or her own business; thus, neglecting the affairs of the Lord’s house. In such cases, these activities scarcely avail the Pastor time to separate himself unto God for the people, or even to minister to them effectively. And this is a major obstacle to the efficiency of a Pastor.

Therefore, if a Church must enjoy the full benefits of its Pastor, the people must be trained to take up responsibilities in the Church, to reduce the workload on him. This would, in turn, avail the Pastor enough time to spend with God for the people and to minister to them effectively. So arise today and support your Pastor, if you were not doing so before.

Prophecy 1: Receive the grace to be a strong support to your pastor in Jesus’ name.
