THANKSGIVING BRINGS US TO THE PLACE OF PERFECTION

Read in your own language

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. Luke 17:17

The word “perfect” can be translated to mean “complete, whole and lacking nothing”. It also means “excellent, flawless, finished and entire”. When we live lives of consistent thanksgiving, the peace of God guards our hearts in anticipation of our answers. The prayer of thanksgiving perfects what God has begun to do in our lives.

Thanksgiving takes us into a place of perfection- a place where we lack nothing of the present will of God for our lives. This is clearly seen in the story of the lepers who came to Jesus. We well know the story that everyone of the ten lepers got healed after Jesus commanded them healed; however one of the healed lepers got more than just a healing from leprosy- he got perfection of that which concerns him. This was the same leper who alone turned back and returned to glorify God.

Did you just have a baby? Or did you just get a new job? Or was that contract you have been bidding for finally signed? Have you come back with gratitude and thanksgiving for that which God has started in your life, your family, your church? Perfection and completeness belongs to only those who come back in thanksgiving. Choose today to be a part of this ‘come-back company’ of people who always return with thanks!

ALGERIA

With a 97% Muslim population, 85% of Algerians are unreached with the Gospel but faith is growing among Arabs. New fellowships are popping up. Their youths are frustrated and disillusioned but they make up the largest population in Algeria and amongst them are the majority of the Christians.

Y. We are praying that every hold of religion be broken off the people that they may yield to the Gospel of Christ.

Startup Prayer: Dear Father, I pray for completeness in my life as I thank you in Jesus name
