THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS.

Read in your own language

“But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Mark 11:26

When we make mistakes or err and we go to God in repentance, He forgives us. Likewise, we also ought to forgive those who sin against us. As long as we remain human and interact, people will hurt or do us wrong. But, as believers, Jesus admonishes us to forgive them.

He admonishes us to forgive those that wrong us, not just for their sakes, but primarily for our sakes, so that our heavenly Father might forgive us when we trespass against Him. In other words, our forgiveness is dependent on forgiving others. How amazing it is to know that we can obtain forgiveness and mercy from God, just by forgiving and being merciful to others. Halleluyah!

So, in your journey of life, as difficult as it might seem sometimes, you should learn to forgive everyone who trespasses against you, so that you might also obtain forgiveness from God when you fall short. Glory to God!
