WHO IS YOUR MASTER?

Read in your own language

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16

Every person is this world is under subjection to something or someone, even if you live in a liberal country. Your way of life shows the kind of things you yield/subject yourself to and therefore what master you serve. It is either you are subject to God through Jesus Christ or you are bound to sin and its master the devil.

To be a servant means to serve – to perform duties or services for another person. A believer therefore who selects which of God’s instructions to obey which ones to ignore is not serving God but is obeying the devil, because there is no middle ground. The Bible reveals in clear terms that no one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.

Thus, if you have surrendered your life to Christ and He is truly your Master, refuse to be a slave to sin. Discipline yourself to obey God and ask for grace in areas where you are defaulting. Once you are in total obedience, God will gain mastery of your life and He will be glorified in your life- this is the will of God concerning you.

Prophecy 1: Receive grace to submit to the Lordship of Christ in your life in Jesus name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, receive strength to handle difficult situations in Jesus name.

Action Points

W: Reflect on this – Is your obedience complete before God? If No, make that your priority always.

X: I decree and I declare that I will serve the lord all the days of my life.

Turkey

For over 1,000 years the region was a bastion of Christendom, but it later became a strong propagator of Islam. The Christian population has declined from 22% to 0.21% since 1900. Only 0.008% of people in Turkey are evangelical. Few of the 73 million Muslims have ever truly heard the gospel.

Y: We are praying that the Gospel of Christ will prevail in Turkey.

Startup Prayer: Dear Father, I pray that you will forever remain the lord of my life in Jesus name.
