The world today is filled with growing incidences of suicide from
people cutting across virtually all age groups. Even in the church,
you could find quite a number of believers living in depression, fear and apathy. Though this is not an anomaly among the people of the world over whom the devil reigns as a god; it should be completely abnormal and strange for a believer in Christ to suffer such.
As believers, we have been given so much and made so much through the grace of Jesus. The devil will surely come to tempt you to put you under his bondage, but he is no match for you if you truly know who God has made you in Christ and you take your stand against his tantrums. You can only dominate the thoughts the devil throws at you if you have the right perspective about yourself. Our scripture text encapsulates this and reveals to us that we are just like Jesus in this world!
When next that negative thought or feeling comes to try to make you think otherwise just declare aloud that as He is so are you. Meditate on it until you develop the right attitude towards yourself because with the right perspective of who you are, you will take on the world and the devil. Glory to God!

Father, I thank you for this new day and the privilege you have given me to know you a and to walk with you by faith. I am grateful for the revelation of your Word and the gift of your Holy Spirit. I commit myself to fellowshipping with your Word and your Spirit this day. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight and to live a life that pleases you. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you right now, in Jesus Name. Amen.
