You were not born by chance or happenstance; you are fearfully and wonderfully made by the hands of the Almighty. Your skills, talents, and passions were intricately woven into you by Him to uniquely prepare you for your assignment and destiny.

Our opening text today highlights that Christ has made us kings and priests unto our God. In order words, as believers, we have a destiny with God as kings, which speaks of our destiny as rulers with God, reminding us that we are called to influence the world around us for the glory of God.

True rulership in the kingdom of God is not about exerting power or seeking personal gain, but rather about servant leadership. Jesus, our ultimate example, came not to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Our authority as believers is rooted in humility and love, as we follow Christ’s example in selflessly serving others.

Our placement and positioning in our families, workplaces, communities, and spheres of influence are all opportunities for us to manifest the kingdom of God. We are called to be salt and light, preserving and illuminating the world with God’s love, truth, and righteousness.

Therefore, let this mind be in you as you steward the gifts and opportunities entrusted to you by God for the benefit of others, by using your influence and resources to lift others up, empowering them to discover their own God-given potential.
