SET YOUR HEART TO OBEY

“Genesis 12:4 – So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him;”

God takes you from level to level by training and building you up to master each level and thereby grow in wisdom and influence. In our opening text today, we see a reference to how Abraham received an instruction from the Lord to take a step of faith; his instant response and promptness is exemplary.

As a believer, you will sometimes get the signal or the leading of the Spirit to step out into new territories. It may be a prompt to change your location, speak to someone, start a business, etc. When you have this leading that makes you start to do things that seem impossible, and going where others have not gone, it may be the Spirit of faith, and to ignore the leading is to remain stagnant and miss out on what God is doing.

What is the Lord leading you to say, do or give up in line with His Word today, and what has been your response? Remember that without obedience, you cannot enjoy the best that God has for you (Isa. 1:19). Therefore, set your heart to obey the leading of God’s Spirit knowing that as you do, you are taking a step into a new chapter of God’s plan and provisions for your life.

Startup Prayer: Oh Lord, give me a heart of obedience, and help me to be prompt in obeying your voice and your leading, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION -RUSSIA
47% are unreached with the Gospel. Christian leaders are few in number due to a lack of training. Discipleship patterns are soley inadequate. Many churches across all evangelical groups are filled with younger folks that need to be grounded in scriptures while the majority that attend church in Russia are mostly women.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the churches in this nation that they will be rooted and grounded in the word of truth in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that the government of this nation, will seek godly counselors, who will instruct them aright, in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, let the spirit of love and peace rest upon the church, that it will stand united always in Jesus name .

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that through our message, many who are lost in our cities will be liberated and delivered, from the kingdom of darkness in the name of Jesus.
