PRESERVE YOUR BLESSING

“Luke 17:17-18 – And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

Many people today wonder why they are unable to preserve the blessings that they have received from God. Some others attribute their loss to the enemy, whereas the real reason is their own carelessness. Our opening text today shows us how to keep the blessing that God gives to us – through heartfelt gratitude, and to show that only a few have learnt this principle wholeheartedly, we see that only one of the ten lepers who were cleansed returned to give Glory to God.

Thanksgiving acknowledges God as the Source of our blessings, and we know that whatever comes from God has to be good. By affirming that He is the Source of our testimonies, we sanctify, establish and make perfect that which we have received through our testimony. So we are not just thanking the LORD for our blessing, but also declaring that He is faithful to keep what He has given us.

So what have you received from God in the course of this month or prior to this time? Now is the time to itemise them and thank Him for each and every blessing He has given you. That is how to make your blessing permanent. Glory to God!

PRAYER FOR A NATION -RWANDA
Rwanda has made great progress in many areas since the tragic events of 1994-1995. The nation’s infrastructure was greatly brutalized during the conflicts but political stability since 2000 has allowed for rebuilding and developing of the economy. Rwanda is now one of the fastest growing country economically in Africa.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask pour out your Spirit upon the nation Rwanda, and that you will cause the nation to be built Up according to your will, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will raise up faithful and righteous leaders who will lead the nation into your perfect will in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of conflicts and misunderstanding in the church, and we ask for grace to stand together in unity, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the voice of the Spirit will become clearer to all missionaries and labourers in the harvest field, thus, leading them to the right souls, in Jesus name.
