REFRESH YOUR SOUL

Colossians 4:6
“Isaiah 44:3 – For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring…”

Water is one of the most important elements on the earth. The survival and sustenance of all living things is dependent on its availability. It is thus significant when the Bible shows us in our opening text that God desires to pour out His Spirit upon us, like water upon a thirsty soul, and a flood upon the dry ground.

The Holy Spirit manifests as water to signify His power to cleanse and purify. He comes into the life of the believer to wash away every spiritual uncleanness and deposits of sin. He helps to cleanse your mind from every controlling thought that negates the truth of God’s Word.

Each time you fellowship with him in prayers and in the study of the word, the Spirit of God flushes out every negative thought and all that impedes your spiritual growth, leaving you with a freshness words cannot describe. Like cold water to a thirsty man, He refreshes your soul with His Presence.

Therefore, do not fail to create and maintain times of fellowship with the Holy Spirit daily, so that you may experience a freshness in your soul and spirit. You can even get started right away!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – ROMANIA
Even though most Romanians claim to be Christian, little evidence is seen in their lifestyles. Romania has one of the highest abortion rates in the world, and difficulties from drug abuse, prostitution, and pornography reflect the emotional state of many. Despite this, Romania has the fourth-largest growing evangelical population in Europe.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon the nation Romania, and cause there to be a revival in the church that will bring about a reformation in the nation, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, grant unto the leaders of this nation the wisdom toset up systems through which the message of the Gospel can flourish and spread in the land, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray against rivalry and unhealthy competitions in the church, and we ask that you will help us to follow You completely in all holiness and righteousness, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against the spirit of fear and timidity that is hindering believers from spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask for the spirit of boldness to rest upon us today, in Jesus name.
